The CLEVELAND C33114 is a double-end square end mill designed for precision milling in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Manufactured from high speed steel with a TiCN finish, it offers improved wear resistance and heat tolerance compared to uncoated HSS tooling. The cutter measures 11/32 inches (0.3438 inches) in diameter with a 3/4 inch length of cut and a 3/8 inch straight-cylindrical shank with Weldon flat. A 30-degree helix angle and spiral flute geometry promote efficient chip evacuation. This tool is installed and operated by machinists and CNC operators in job shop, production, and maintenance machining environments.
The C33114 is suited for milling operations in cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel. Its centercutting design allows plunge entry in addition to peripheral cutting. The double-end configuration provides a second cutting end, extending tool life per unit. The regular length profile fits standard tool holders and collets in both manual knee mills and CNC machining centers where a 3/8 inch shank is appropriate. Primary workpiece material codes K, N, and P are supported per the series specification.
Designed for use in standard 3/8 inch end mill holders, collet chucks, and Weldon-style tool holders on manual mills and CNC machining centers. Suitable for cast iron, non-ferrous metals, and steel workpieces per Series HD-4C specifications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist following the machine tool manufacturer's tooling and runout specifications. Ensure the spindle is fully stopped and the machine is in a safe state before changing tooling. Seat the Weldon flat against the set screw for secure retention and verify tool runout with a dial indicator before cutting. Consult applicable shop safety procedures and machine tool documentation for speed and feed parameters appropriate to the workpiece material.
