The CLEVELAND C32982 is a double-end, four-flute cobalt square end mill designed for material removal in demanding machining applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel and finished with a TiCN (titanium carbonitride) coating, it delivers increased hardness and heat resistance compared to standard HSS tooling. The cutting diameter is 0.25 inches, the length of cut is 0.625 inches, and the overall length is 3.375 inches. A 30-degree helix angle promotes efficient chip evacuation and smooth cutting action. This is a centercutting tool capable of plunge cutting as well as peripheral and slot milling operations.

The C32982 is suited for milling high-temperature alloys, stainless steel, and general steel workpieces in both manual and CNC machining environments. The double-end configuration provides two usable cutting ends, extending tool life per unit. The straight cylindrical shank with Weldon flat accommodates standard end mill holders and set-screw-style tool holders with a 0.375-inch bore.
