Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it delivers superior heat and wear resistance compared to standard HSS tooling. The cutter features a 0.25 inch mill diameter, a 0.50 inch length of cut, and a 30-degree helix angle for efficient chip evacuation. A TiN (titanium nitride) coating further extends tool life in abrasive cutting environments. This is a centercutting tool, enabling direct plunge entry into the workpiece. Licensed machinists and tool-and-die professionals install and operate this tool in CNC mills and manual knee mills.

The C32505 is rated for primary workpiece materials including high-temperature alloys, stainless steel, and steel. The right-hand cut and right-hand spiral flute configuration suits conventional and climb milling on standard vertical machining centers.
