The CLEVELAND C32225 is a single-end roughing end mill designed for aggressive material removal in milling operations. Built from Powdered Metal Cobalt (HSS-E-PM) in M42 material grade, this tool delivers superior heat and wear resistance compared to standard high-speed steel. It features a Titanium Nitride (TiN) coating, a 3/4 inch cutting diameter, and a 4-flute coarse-pitch spiral configuration. With a maximum helix angle of 30 degrees and a right-hand cutting and flute direction, it is suited for high-chip-load roughing passes on ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Licensed machinists, tool and die makers, and CNC operators are the primary users of this tool.

This end mill is used in vertical and horizontal milling applications where rapid stock removal is the priority. Its coarse pitch geometry breaks chips aggressively, reducing heat buildup in the cut zone. The Weldon Flat shank provides a secure, anti-rotation seating in standard end mill holders. At 1-5/8 inches length of cut and 3-7/8 inches overall length, it fits standard depth-of-cut requirements in both manual and CNC machining centers. It is not center-cutting and is not intended for plunge entry.

Installation Notes

Ensure the Weldon Flat is properly aligned with the set screw in the holder to prevent slippage under load. Do not use this tool for plunge cuts — it is not center-cutting.
