The CLEVELAND C25397 is a straight-flute chucking reamer designed for precision hole finishing in metal fabrication and machining applications. Built from high-speed steel (HSS) with a bright, uncoated finish, this reamer produces accurate, smooth bores to a diameter of 0.2010 inches. It features six flutes with a right-hand cut, delivering clean chip evacuation and consistent surface finish. The straight shank is compatible with standard drill chucks and collet-style toolholding systems. At 5 inches overall length with a 1.25-inch flute length, it is sized for benchtop and floor-model drill presses as well as manual milling setups. Machinists and tool-and-die technicians are the primary users of this tool.
This chucking reamer is suited for reaming wire-gauge holes in the 0.2000 to 0.2499-inch decimal range, with a finished bore diameter of 0.2010 inches. It is used in job shop, production, and maintenance-repair-operations (MRO) environments where tight hole tolerances are required. Typical applications include precision bore finishing in mild steel, aluminum, brass, and similar machinable metals.
