Built to Series 2575 specifications, it features a 135-degree split point that reduces walking and minimizes the need for a center punch. The parabolic flute geometry improves chip evacuation and allows for faster feed rates compared to standard jobber geometry. At 0.125 inches in diameter with a 5.125-inch overall length and 2.75-inch flute length, this bit is suited for through-hole work in thicker stock where a standard-length drill would fall short. Licensed machinists, tool-and-die workers, and maintenance mechanics are the primary installers.
