Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel, it carries a 135-degree split point that reduces walking on contact and lowers thrust requirements at the start of the cut. The parabolic flute geometry improves chip evacuation during deep-hole passes. At 3-3/8 inches overall length with a 2-inch flute length, this stub-style bit fits low-clearance setups where a jobber-length bit would interfere. It cuts right-hand and is sized at 27/64 inches (0.4219 inches decimal) with a straight cylindrical shank.
