The CLEVELAND C14642 is a cobalt screw machine length drill bit sized at Letter C (0.2420 inches) with a 135-degree split point and web-thinned geometry. Built to M42 cobalt steel grade, it handles demanding applications where standard high-speed steel bits fall short. The 135-degree split point reduces walking and cutting pressure, making it well suited for harder or tougher workpiece materials. It features a straight cylindrical shank, right-hand cut, and two spiral flutes with a parallel web configuration. Overall length is 2.5 inches. This bit is sold individually and is intended for use by machinists, tool and die technicians, and maintenance professionals who require consistent, repeatable hole quality.
The C14642 is designed for drilling into alloy steels and aluminum in production and maintenance environments.
