The CLEVELAND C14570 is a screw machine length drill bit designed for high-productivity drilling in demanding trade and industrial applications. Built from M42 cobalt high-speed steel with a coated finish, it carries a No. 31 wire gauge diameter of 0.1200 inches and an overall length of 1.875 inches. The 135-degree split point reduces thrust force and self-centers on entry, minimizing the need for a center punch on most surfaces. Two spiral flutes with a web-thinned, parallel web configuration promote chip evacuation and reduce heat buildup during continuous use. This bit is sold individually and must be ordered in multiples of 10.

The C14570 is suited for drilling alloy steels and aluminum in high-cycle production environments, machine shops, and fabrication settings. Its screw machine length — shorter than jobber length — provides added rigidity and reduces deflection when used in drill presses, CNC machining centers, turret lathes, and hand-held power tools where stub-length bits are specified.
