The CLEVELAND C14212 is a cobalt screw machine length drill bit sized at letter E (0.25 inches decimal), built for heavy-duty drilling in tough materials. The 135-degree split point starts cleanly without a center punch and reduces walking on hard surfaces. A parabolic flute geometry improves chip evacuation, making this bit well suited for deep-hole applications where chip buildup causes heat and tool failure. The web-thinned parallel web configuration reduces thrust requirements at the cutting edge. Overall length is 2.5 inches with a 1.375-inch flute length, keeping the bit rigid and reducing deflection in short-reach screw machine setups. Right-hand cut with a straight cylindrical shank sized at 0.25 inches diameter. Manufactured to ASME B94.11M standards.
