The 6 inch overall length and 1 inch spiral flute make it well-suited for applications where a standard-length bit cannot reach. The web-thinned, tapered web construction reduces thrust load and improves chip evacuation. Right-hand cutting direction and a straight cylindrical shank allow it to seat securely in standard drill chucks.
