The CLEVELAND C11675 is a jobber-length twist drill bit designed for precision hole-making in metal fabrication, maintenance, and production drilling applications. Built from high speed steel with a bright uncoated finish, it carries a wire gauge size of No. 21, translating to a decimal diameter of 0.1590 inches. The 135-degree split point reduces walking on entry and lowers thrust force compared to a standard 118-degree point. Overall length is 3.25 inches with a flute length of 2.125 inches. The tapered web and web-thinned geometry improve chip evacuation and cutting efficiency. Licensed HVAC techs, machinists, pipefitters, and electricians reach for this size when drilling pilot holes, clearance holes, or tapping prep holes in sheet metal and light structural stock.
The C11675 is rated for primary use in aluminum but performs across a range of non-ferrous metals, mild steels, and plastics in both shop and field environments. The straight-cylindrical shank seats securely in standard three-jaw keyed or keyless chucks. The regular spiral flute and right-hand cut make it compatible with conventional drill presses, hand drills, and cordless driver-drill units. It conforms to NAS 907 Type B standards, making it suitable for aerospace-adjacent maintenance and fabrication work where dimensional tolerances matter. Sold individually, it is available in multiples of 12.
Designed as a jobber-length drill bit for use in standard three-jaw chucks accepting a 0.1590-inch straight-cylindrical shank. Primary workpiece material rating is aluminum; also suited for non-ferrous metals, mild steel, and plastics. Conforms to NAS 907 Type B and UNSPSC 23241634.
Secure the shank fully in the chuck before beginning any drilling operation and verify chuck key is removed before powering the tool. Use appropriate cutting fluid or lubricant when drilling metals to extend edge life and reduce heat. Wear eye protection and secure the workpiece to prevent rotation. Inspect the cutting edges before each use and replace if chipping or dulling is observed, as a degraded edge increases thrust and can cause workpiece damage or bit breakage.
