The TiAlN coating adds surface hardness and oxidation resistance, extending tool life in abrasive materials. The 135-degree split point reduces thrust and self-centers on contact, eliminating the need for a center punch in most applications. At 3-1/8 inches overall length with a 2-inch flute, this bit fits standard drill chucks and magnetic drills used by machinists, pipefitters, ironworkers, and maintenance technicians.
