The CLECO CLBA123 is a cordless right angle nutrunner built on the CellClutch platform, designed for precision fastening in tight or confined spaces where inline tools cannot reach. It runs on an 18-volt lithium-ion battery system and drives a 3/8 inch square drive with a shut-off clutch that stops rotation at a preset torque threshold, reducing the risk of fastener damage or overtorque. The no-load speed range runs up to 650 RPM, and the reversible drive supports both installation and removal cycles. Battery is not included. This tool is installed and operated by assembly technicians, mechanical contractors, and industrial maintenance professionals.
The CLBA123 is suited for production assembly, mechanical maintenance, and industrial fastening applications where repeatable torque control is required. The right angle head configuration allows access to fasteners in recessed panels, flanged joints, and equipment assemblies with restricted clearance. The CellClutch series is designed for mid-range torque applications in manufacturing and mechanical service environments. The tool accepts a Milwaukee M18 Red Lithium battery, making it compatible with that battery platform for shops already running M18 packs.
Compatible with Milwaukee M18 Red Lithium battery packs. Battery is not included with the tool. Designed for use within the CLECO CellClutch cordless right angle nutrunner series for industrial and mechanical fastening applications.
Installation and operation should be performed by qualified mechanical technicians familiar with torque-controlled fastening tools. Before servicing the tool or changing sockets, remove the battery pack to prevent accidental activation. Set the clutch to the required torque specification per the equipment manufacturer's fastening requirements before use. Follow applicable workplace safety standards and equipment manufacturer guidelines for fastener torque and tool maintenance intervals.
