It carries a 135-degree split-point geometry with web thinning, which reduces walking on entry and lowers thrust requirements compared to a conventional 118-degree point. The straight-cylindrical shank measures 1/16 inch in diameter with a 1-inch shank length, and the overall length is 1-7/8 inches with a 7/8-inch flute length. Two spiral flutes in a regular helix evacuate chips efficiently on right-hand cut applications. It is sized to NAS 907 Type B standards and graded heavy duty for production drilling environments.
