Built to Series 906 specifications and compliant with NAS 907 Type B standards, this bit features a 135-degree split point that is self-centering and web-thinned for reduced thrust and cleaner entry without a center punch. The 7/16 inch diameter cutting edge carries a tight tolerance of +0.0000 to -0.0010 inches, and an oxide finish provides surface hardness and basic lubricity. The extended flute length of 4.0625 inches allows chip evacuation in deeper bores that would otherwise pack and bind a shorter tool.
