The CHARLOTTE PIPE PVC-302-2IN is a 2-inch PVC DWV 90-degree street elbow designed for drain, waste, and vent piping systems. Street fittings have one male spigot end and one female socket end, allowing direct insertion into another fitting without an additional coupling. This fitting is rated for non-pressure, gravity-fed waste elimination systems only and is suitable for use in applications where temperatures will not exceed 140 degrees F. Lightweight PVC construction makes handling and installation straightforward, and no specialized cutting tools are required. This fitting is installed using solvent cement joining and is a standard component used by licensed plumbers in residential and light commercial DWV rough-in work.
This street elbow is used wherever a 90-degree change of direction is needed in a gravity-fed DWV piping system. Typical applications include drain line offsets, closet flange connections, and vent stack routing in residential and commercial construction. Because it accepts a spigot end directly, it reduces the number of fittings needed in tight spaces. It is not intended for pressure service, potable water supply lines, or applications exceeding the rated temperature. Installation is performed by licensed plumbers following IPC or local adopted plumbing code requirements.
