This fitting transitions between a 1-1/2 inch pipe and a 2 inch pipe within gravity-fed, non-pressure drainage systems. Rated for use in systems where temperatures will not exceed 140 degrees F, it is manufactured from PVC for a lightweight, corrosion-resistant build. Licensed plumbers and pipe fitters install this fitting using solvent cement joining, threading, flanging, or roll-grooved methods. No special cutting tools are required, making installation straightforward in both new construction and retrofit applications.
This coupling is suited for residential and light commercial drain, waste, and vent installations where a pipe size transition between 1-1/2 inch and 2 inch lines is needed. Common applications include lavatory drain connections, fixture branch lines, and vent stack transitions. Do not use this fitting in pressurized water supply lines or in systems where operating temperatures exceed 140 degrees F.
