The CERROBRASS 69A-4B is a brass compression tube male elbow fitting designed to connect 1/4-inch OD tubing to a 1/4-inch NPT male threaded port at a 90-degree angle. Constructed from brass, this fitting provides a reliable, leak-resistant connection in hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, and fluid transfer lines. It uses a compression-style end for the tube side, eliminating the need for soldering or flaring on that connection point. Rated to 400 psi maximum working pressure and tested across a temperature range of -65 degrees F to 212 degrees F, it is suited for demanding trade applications. The fitting meets SAE standards and features a 7/16-24 thread specification on the male NPT end.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant or instrument tubing, and fluid control systems where a tube line must transition to a threaded port at a right angle. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pipefitters install this fitting when routing 1/4-inch OD copper, aluminum, or compatible tubing to NPT-threaded valves, gauges, or manifolds. Its compact elbow profile makes it particularly useful in tight spaces where a straight fitting would not allow proper tube routing.
Designed for use with 1/4-inch OD tubing on the compression end and 1/4-inch NPT threaded ports on the male end. Suitable for hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid transfer assemblies conforming to SAE fitting standards.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers or HVAC technicians. Shut off all fluid or gas supply and relieve system pressure before disassembling any fitting. Thread the male NPT end into the receiving port using appropriate thread sealant or tape in accordance with applicable IPC or IFGC guidelines. On the compression side, ensure the tube end is cut cleanly and squarely, then seat the ferrule and tighten the compression nut to a snug fit - do not overtighten, as brass fittings can deform.
