The CENTURY DRILL TOOL CO INC 75208 is a mounted grinding point designed for material removal, deburring, and surface finishing on metal workpieces. The grinding head measures 3/4 inches in diameter and is constructed from vitrified aluminum oxide, a hard abrasive grain bonded in a rigid matrix that delivers consistent stock removal across ferrous and non-ferrous metals. The 1/4 inch round shank is a standard size that seats in virtually any drill chuck or rotary tool collet without adapters. Each package contains 3 grinding points. Machinists, maintenance techs, and fabricators use this type of mounted point for internal grinding, contour work, and weld cleanup in tight spots that flat abrasive discs cannot reach.
This grinding point is suited for bench drill presses, portable electric drills, and rotary tool handpieces used in light fabrication, tool and die work, and general metal maintenance. Typical applications include deburring drilled holes, blending weld beads, cleaning up cast iron surfaces, and shaping soft steel or aluminum components. The vitrified bond provides good heat resistance and friability, making the abrasive self-sharpening under moderate pressure. Sold in a 3-count package, this item is appropriate for shop use where multiple points are consumed across a project or job.
Designed for use with any drill press, handheld electric drill, or rotary tool equipped with a standard 1/4 inch chuck or collet. Compatible with all types of metal workpieces.
Installation is performed by any machinist, fabricator, or maintenance technician comfortable with rotary abrasive tooling. Insert the 1/4 inch shank fully into the drill chuck or collet and tighten securely before operation. Always wear appropriate eye protection and ensure the workpiece is clamped or secured before applying the spinning point. Do not exceed the maximum RPM rating of the tool being used with this mounted point.
