The CENTAUR 70043 is a standard single angle collet designed for use in TG/PG 100 toolholding systems. It accepts a 0.75-inch bore diameter and delivers a total indicated runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for precision machining applications where concentricity matters. The collet measures 2.38 inches in overall length with a body diameter of 1.38 inches. It is installed by machinists and tool-crib technicians working on CNC machining centers, manual mills, or other machine tool setups that use the TG/PG 100 collet standard.
This collet fits into TG/PG 100 collet chucks and is appropriate for both production and job-shop environments. The 0.75-inch clamping bore accommodates standard 3/4-inch round shank tooling, including end mills, drills, and reamers. Its single-angle design provides secure, consistent tool grip across a range of cutting operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Typical installations are found in light-to-medium duty vertical and horizontal machining centers.
Designed for use with TG/PG 100 series collet chucks and toolholders accepting a 0.75-inch bore collet.
Installation is performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. The machine spindle must be powered down and locked out before changing collets. The collet and chuck taper surfaces should be inspected and cleaned of chips or debris before seating to protect TIR accuracy. Follow the machine tool and toolholder manufacturer torque guidelines when tightening the collet nut.
