The CENTAUR 70034 is a standard single angle collet designed for TG100 and PG100 collet systems. Collets of this type hold cutting tools or workpieces concentrically within a collet chuck, providing the clamping force needed for milling, drilling, and similar machining operations. This collet accepts a 0.6094 inch (39/64 inch) bore size and delivers a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, which is a precision tolerance suited to demanding tool-holding applications. The body diameter measures 1.38 inches with an overall length of 2.38 inches. Installation is performed by machinists and toolroom technicians working with compatible TG100 or PG100 chuck systems.
This collet is used in CNC machining centers, manual mills, and drill presses equipped with TG100 or PG100 collet chuck systems. It is suited for production and toolroom environments where consistent runout control is required. The 39/64 inch bore accommodates round shank tooling at that diameter. Both residential shop and commercial production machine tool setups can use this collet wherever a TG100 or PG100 chuck is installed.
Designed for use with TG100 and PG100 collet chuck systems. Suitable as a direct replacement or additional collet for any chuck accepting the TG100 or PG100 collet series at the 0.6094 inch bore size.
Collet installation and removal is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Before installing or changing collets, ensure the machine spindle is fully stopped and the chuck is clear of the workpiece. Clean the collet taper and chuck bore thoroughly before seating the collet to prevent runout caused by debris. Tighten the collet nut to the chuck manufacturer's specified procedure using the appropriate spanner wrench for the TG100 or PG100 system.
