The CENTAUR 70018 is a standard single angle collet designed for TG100 and PG100 collet systems used in precision machining and toolholding applications. With a collet size of 0.3594 inches (23/64 inch), a maximum body diameter of 1.38 inches, and an overall length of 2.38 inches, this collet delivers consistent, repeatable workholding with a total indicated runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches. Machinists and toolroom professionals install this collet into compatible TG100 and PG100 spindles and collet chucks to hold round-shank tooling or workpieces with high concentricity.
This collet is suited for use in CNC machining centers, manual mills, and production grinding setups where TG100 or PG100 toolholding systems are installed. The 0.3594-inch bore accommodates round shanks at that specific diameter, making it a direct-fit replacement or additional collet for shops running that shank size. It is typically installed by machinists, tool-and-die technicians, and precision grinding specialists in both job-shop and production environments.
Designed for use with TG100 and PG100 collet chucks and spindles accepting standard single angle collets at the 0.3594-inch bore size.
TG100 and PG100 collets are installed by qualified machinists using the appropriate collet nut and spanner wrench for the chuck system. Always power down and lock out the spindle drive before changing collets. Ensure the collet bore, shank, and chuck taper are clean and free of chips or debris before seating the collet to maintain TIR. Do not overtighten the collet nut beyond the chuck manufacturer's torque recommendation.
