The CENTAUR 50043 is a standard single angle collet in the TG/PG 75 series, designed for precision workholding in CNC machining and milling applications. With a 0.75 inch bore capacity and a total indicated runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, this collet delivers the concentricity and grip consistency required for tight-tolerance machining operations. The body diameter measures 1.06 inches and the overall length is 1.84 inches. It is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians into compatible TG75 or PG75 collet chucks and toolholders.
This collet is suited for use in production machining centers, manual mills, and toolroom lathes where TG/PG 75 series toolholding systems are in service. Typical applications include end mill holding, drill chucking, and reamer holding in both light-duty and moderate-load cutting operations. The standard single angle configuration is the most common TG75 collet format used in general-purpose spindle work across job shops and production environments.
Designed for use with TG75 and PG75 series collet chucks and toolholders that accept the standard single angle collet configuration with a 0.75 inch bore.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Always power down and lock out the machine spindle before inserting or removing collets. Ensure the chuck bore and collet exterior are clean and free of chips or oil film before seating the collet to maintain TIR performance. Do not exceed the toolholder manufacturer's recommended clamping torque for the TG75 nut.
