The CENTAUR 50032 is a standard single angle collet designed for TG75 and PG75 collet systems used in precision machining applications. It holds a clamping size of 0.5781 inches (37/64 inch) with a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for work requiring tight concentricity tolerances. The body diameter measures 1.06 inches and the overall length is 1.84 inches. This collet is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians into compatible collet chucks or collet blocks on lathes, mills, and grinding machines where secure, concentric workpiece or tool holding is required.
This collet is intended for use in TG75 and PG75 series tooling setups, typically found in production machining, tool and die, and precision grinding environments. The TG/PG 75 series is a widely used collet standard in both manual and CNC machine tool applications. The 37/64 inch capacity makes this collet appropriate for gripping round stock, cutting tools, or workpieces at that specific diameter. It is packaged and sold individually.
Designed for use with TG75 and PG75 series collet chucks and collet blocks. Verify chuck series and clamping diameter requirements before installation.
Installation is performed by machinists or toolroom technicians familiar with collet chuck systems. Power down and de-energize the machine spindle completely before inserting or removing collets. Use the appropriate collet wrench or chuck key specified for the TG75 or PG75 chuck in use. Do not exceed the rated clamping diameter of the collet, as over-stressing the collet can affect TIR and shorten service life.
