The CENTAUR 50009 is a standard single angle collet in the TG75 and PG75 collet series, designed for use in TG/PG 75 toolholding systems on CNC machining centers, milling machines, and lathes. It accepts a 0.2188 inch (7/32 inch) shank diameter and delivers a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inch, supporting precision workholding where concentricity matters. With an overall length of 1.84 inches and a maximum body diameter of 1.06 inches, this collet fits standard TG75 and PG75 nuts and holders. It is installed by machinists and toolroom technicians in production and job shop environments.
The CENTAUR 50009 is suited for both production machining and precision toolroom applications where TG75 or PG75 collet systems are in use. Typical installations involve holding end mills, drills, reamers, or round-shank cutting tools with a 0.2188 inch shank. It is appropriate for light to moderate cutting operations in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. This collet is sold individually and is a direct fit for standard TG75 and PG75 collet nuts and holders without modification.
Designed for use with TG75 and PG75 collet series toolholders and collet nuts. Accepts round-shank tooling with a 0.2188 inch diameter.
Installation is performed by qualified machinists or toolroom technicians. Always power down and lock out the machine spindle before changing collets. Inspect the collet bore, taper, and mating toolholder surfaces for chips, wear, or burrs before assembly. Use the correct TG75 or PG75 collet nut and a proper spanner wrench to achieve adequate clamping force without overloading the collet taper.
