The CENTAUR 50008 is a standard single angle collet designed for use with TG75 and PG75 collet systems. It accepts a 0.2031-inch (13/64 inch) tool shank and delivers a total indicator runout (TIR) of 0.0005 inches, making it suitable for precision machining applications where concentricity is critical. The collet measures 1.84 inches in overall length with a maximum body diameter of 1.06 inches. It is installed and used by machinists and toolroom technicians working with TG75 or PG75 toolholding systems on milling machines, machining centers, and similar equipment.
This collet is intended for use in toolholding setups where TG75 or PG75 series collet chucks are installed. The 0.2031-inch bore size accommodates standard 13/64-inch round-shank cutting tools including end mills, drills, and reamers. It is a standard-type collet, meaning it provides a single gripping angle and is not a specialty or emergency style. Typical applications include production machining and toolroom operations in both job shop and manufacturing environments.
Designed for use with TG75 and PG75 series collet chucks and toolholding systems accepting standard single angle collets with a 0.2031-inch bore.
Installation should be performed by a qualified machinist or toolroom technician. Ensure the collet chuck and spindle are fully stopped and locked out before inserting or removing the collet. Clean the collet and chuck bore thoroughly before assembly to prevent runout caused by debris. Follow the toolholder manufacturer torque and clamping procedure for the TG75 or PG75 chuck being used.
