The CDI 501MRMH is a micrometer-style torque wrench designed for precise torque application in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions. It covers a torque range from 1.4 Nm to 5.4 Nm, equivalent to a maximum of 50 inch-pounds, making it well suited for low-torque fastening tasks that demand accuracy. The wrench features dual-scale laser-marked graduations in foot-pounds, inch-pounds, and Newton meters for direct reading without conversion. A positive lock mechanism holds the set torque value during use, and a quick-release button speeds up socket changes. Calibration is certified, and the knurled handle provides a controlled grip. Clockwise accuracy is rated at 4 percent and counterclockwise accuracy at 6 percent.
This torque wrench is used wherever controlled low-torque fastening is required in HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, and general mechanical service applications. It is appropriate for tightening fittings, sensor connections, and hardware where over-torquing can damage components or void manufacturer requirements. The pear-head design and 10-1/8-inch overall length make it manageable in confined service areas. Licensed technicians and journeymen tradespeople who work with precision fastener specifications will find it well matched to field and shop use alike.
Designed as a general-purpose micrometer torque wrench suitable for low-torque fastening tasks across HVAC, refrigeration, plumbing, and mechanical service applications where inch-pound and Newton-meter ranges apply.
This wrench is used by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, electricians, and mechanical service professionals. Set the desired torque value and engage the positive lock before applying force to prevent drift. Return the wrench to its minimum torque setting after each use to preserve the internal spring calibration. Avoid exceeding the rated maximum torque to maintain calibration accuracy and prevent internal damage.
