The CARMEX SIR1500T16 is an indexable threading toolholder designed for internal threading operations on CNC lathes and turning centers. It accepts 16IR inserts held by a screw-clamp method and is configured for right-hand cutting. The shank measures 1.5 inches wide by 1.5 inches tall, with an overall length of 12 inches. A minimum bore diameter of 1.65 inches defines the smallest bore this holder can reach. The toolholder belongs to CARMEX's SIR series and operates without through-coolant, making it suited for standard dry or flood-coolant setups.
