The CARMEX SER0375D16 is an external, right-hand indexable threading toolholder designed for precision thread-cutting operations on CNC lathes and manual turning centers. Built in the SER series, it accepts 16ER insert geometry with a 3/8-inch inscribed circle and uses a screw-clamp holding method to keep the insert firmly seated under load. The shank measures 0.375 inches wide by 0.38 inches tall with an overall length of 2.5 inches, making it a compact, rigid option for threading external workpiece features. Machinists and toolroom technicians install this holder when consistency and repeatable insert indexing are required.

This toolholder is suited for external threading applications in production turning environments, job shops, and toolroom settings.
