The CARMEX MIR6L15A55 is a solid carbide single point threading tool designed for internal thread cutting on CNC lathes and turning centers. This right-hand tool covers a thread range of 16 to 48 TPI (0.50 to 1.50 mm pitch) with a minimum threading diameter of 0.24 inches and a cutting depth of 0.59 inches. The 55-degree profile angle makes it suited for Whitworth, BSP, and similar thread forms. A TiN coating provides surface hardness and extended tool life in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation and thermal control during continuous threading passes.

This tool is used in precision machining environments where internal threads must be cut to tight tolerances.
