The CARMEX B0625E1612UN is a solid carbide helical flute thread mill designed for cutting internal UNF threads in the 1-12 to 1-1/2-12 size range. It features 5 right-hand flutes, a 0.625-inch cutting diameter, and a 1.63-inch length of cut. The TiAlN coating improves heat resistance and tool life in demanding machining environments. This tool is intended for use on CNC machining centers where helical interpolation is used to generate threads in a single pass. It is suited to machine shops, toolrooms, and production environments where a single tool must cover multiple thread sizes.
