The CARMEX B0500D1216UN is a helical flute thread mill designed for cutting internal 3/4-16 UNF threads in a single helical pass. Built from solid carbide with a TiAlN coating, it delivers the hardness and heat resistance needed for production threading in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. The tool runs 4 right-hand flutes at 16 teeth per inch, with a 0.5-inch cutting diameter and a 1/2-inch shank. An overall length of 4 inches and a 1.22-inch length of cut give it the reach for typical through and blind-hole applications. Coolant-through design helps evacuate chips and manage heat at the cutting edge.
