The CARMEX B0500D1018UN is a solid carbide helical flute thread mill designed for cutting internal threads in a single helical pass. It handles two thread sizes - 1-1/8-18 and 1-5/8-18 - using a right-hand flute direction and 18 teeth per inch. The 0.4450-inch cutting diameter and 1.0300-inch length of cut allow precise thread generation in ferrous and non-ferrous materials. A TiAlN coating extends tool life in high-temperature cutting conditions. With four flutes and coolant-through capability, this tool maintains chip evacuation and thermal control during threading operations. Licensed machinists and CNC tool-room technicians are the primary users.
