The CARMEX B0375D0618NPTF is a solid carbide helical flute thread mill designed for cutting NPTF tapered pipe threads in both internal and external applications. It carries four right-hand flutes, a 0.3750-inch cutting diameter, and an 18-tooth-per-inch (TPI) pitch, making it suitable for generating 1/4-18 and 3/8-18 NPTF thread forms in a single helical interpolation pass. The tool is coated with TiAlN for heat resistance and extended tool life in ferrous and hard materials. Coolant-through capability supports chip evacuation during deep or interrupted thread cuts. Licensed machinists and CNC operators working in production or maintenance environments are the primary users.
