The CARMEX 3/8INRHG60P25C is a laydown threading insert designed for internal thread cutting on CNC lathes and threading equipment. Built from solid carbide with a TiN (titanium nitride) PVD coating, this insert produces right-hand partial profile 60-degree threads across a range of thread pitches from 14 to 8 TPI (1.75 to 3.00 mm pitch). The 3/8 inch inscribed circle and 0.146 inch thickness conform to the 16IR insert style standard. Grade P25C is suited for general-purpose threading across a wide range of workpiece materials. This insert is installed by machinists and CNC operators in production and job-shop environments.

This insert is used for internal threading operations on materials spanning multiple ISO material groups, including steel, stainless steel, cast iron, non-ferrous metals, high-temperature alloys, and hardened materials.
