The CARMEX 3/8INRH16UNP2 is a laydown-style threading insert designed for right-hand internal UN thread cutting at 16 threads per inch (TPI). Manufactured from solid carbide with a PVD-applied titanium nitride (TiN) coating, it carries a P25C grade designation suited for a broad range of workpiece materials. The insert features a 3/8-inch inscribed circle, a thickness of 0.146 inches, and a 60-degree included angle. It is installed in CNC lathes and threading toolholders by machinists and turning-center operators performing precision internal thread work.

This insert is applied in internal threading operations on CNC turning centers and lathes where UN-standard thread profiles are required.
