The CARMEX 22IR5ACMEP25C is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for cutting internal Acme threads on CNC lathes and threading machines. Rated at 5 threads per inch (TPI), it features a 29-degree included angle matched to the Acme thread form and carries a P25C manufacturer grade with a C5 material grade. The insert is finished with a PVD-applied TiN coating for improved wear resistance and tool life. With a 0.500-inch inscribed circle and a thickness of 0.187 inches, this right-hand insert seats reliably in standard 22IR toolholders. It is installed by machinists and tool-and-die technicians in production threading operations.
