The CARMEX 16IR2.0ISOP25C is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for right-hand internal ISO threading operations. It carries a P25C manufacturer grade and a C5 material grade, with a PVD-applied TiN coating for extended tool life. The insert features a 60-degree included angle and a 2.0mm pitch, making it suited for standard metric ISO thread profiles. At 0.375 inches inscribed circle and 0.146 inches thick, it fits standard 16IR toolholders. Machinists and CNC operators working in production turning environments install this insert for single-point threading passes on internal bores.

This insert is intended for use on a wide range of workpiece materials, including ferrous and non-ferrous metals, stainless steels, high-temperature alloys, cast iron, aluminum, and non-metallic materials, as reflected by its universal primary workpiece material designation covering H, K, M, N, P, and S material groups.
