The CARMEX 16ER32UNBMA is a solid carbide laydown threading insert designed for external UN thread-form cutting on CNC lathes and turning centers. It carries a TiAlN coating applied via PVD process, which provides thermal resistance and extended edge life across a wide range of workpiece materials. The insert runs at 32 threads per inch, features a 3/8 inch inscribed circle (0.3750 inches), and measures 0.1460 inches thick. The 60-degree included angle conforms to the Unified National thread standard. This insert is intended for use by machinists and toolroom professionals running production or job-shop threading operations.
