The CAMPBELL LSK4 C is a heat splice connector designed for making secure, insulated electrical connections in the field. Heat splices use a thermoplastic sleeve with a built-in solder ring that melts and flows when heat is applied, creating a watertight, mechanically sound joint without crimping tools. This makes them a reliable choice for wire termination and repair work in residential and commercial electrical, marine, automotive, and HVAC control wiring applications. Electricians and service technicians rely on heat splices where a fast, clean, and moisture-resistant connection is required.
The LSK4 C heat splice is suited for use in low-voltage control wiring, sensor leads, and branch circuit repairs where a clean, insulated splice is needed. The thermoplastic shrink sleeve bonds tightly to the wire jacket on activation, sealing the connection against moisture and vibration. This pack contains 12 individual splice connectors, providing enough quantity for multi-point repairs or a standard service call.
Designed as a general-purpose heat splice connector suitable for low-voltage control wiring and electrical repair applications across residential and light commercial systems.
Heat splices are installed by licensed electricians and qualified service technicians following applicable NEC guidelines. De-energize and lock out the circuit before making any splice connection. Strip wire ends to the appropriate length, insert into the splice sleeve, and apply a heat gun evenly until the solder flows and the sleeve fully shrinks around the wire jacket. Do not overheat or use an open flame that cannot be controlled, as excessive heat can damage the wire insulation or prevent a proper seal.
