The CAMPBELL 5392435 is a bolt-type anchor shackle constructed from carbon steel with a hot-dip galvanized finish. Anchor shackles are used to connect rigging components at load attachment points where the connection must resist multi-directional pull. The bolt-type pin design provides a secure, removable closure that resists accidental disengagement under load. At 1.5 inches in jaw width, this shackle is sized for heavy-duty lifting and rigging applications. Riggers, ironworkers, and marine contractors install this hardware as part of overhead lifting assemblies, tie-down systems, and load-securing rigging.
This bolt-type anchor shackle is suited for industrial rigging, construction lifting operations, marine deck hardware, and general load-securing applications that require a rated, galvanized steel connection point. The galvanized coating makes it appropriate for outdoor and marine environments where corrosion resistance is required. It is installed by qualified riggers following applicable ASME B30 and OSHA overhead lifting guidelines.
Designed as an OEM-style bolt-type anchor shackle for use in standard rigging, lifting, and load-securing assemblies requiring a 1.5-inch galvanized carbon steel shackle.
Installation should be performed by a qualified rigger in accordance with ASME B30.26 and applicable OSHA rigging regulations. Before installing, verify the working load limit rating of this shackle is appropriate for the intended lift. The bolt pin must be fully threaded and the cotter pin or nut secured before placing the shackle under load. Never side-load a shackle beyond its rated capacity or use a shackle that shows signs of deformation, cracks, or corrosion damage.
