The CAMCO MFG 1013 is a two-pack of dielectric water heater heat trap fittings designed to reduce standby heat loss at the inlet and outlet connections of a storage water heater. Each fitting measures 3/4 inches NPT x 3/4 inches NPT and is 3 inches in length. The dielectric inert thermoplastic lining electrically isolates dissimilar metals, limiting galvanic corrosion at the tank port connections. Self-cleaning internal geometry helps prevent mineral buildup over time. Plumbers and water heater service technicians install these fittings as part of a standard tank replacement or upgrade to improve system efficiency and fitting longevity.

These heat trap fittings are suited for residential storage-type water heaters where the existing nipples or fittings lack dielectric protection or heat trap function.
