The CAMBRIDGE-LEE INDUSTRIES 061212300B is a pre-insulated copper line set designed to connect the indoor and outdoor units of split-system and ductless mini-split air conditioning and heat pump systems. It ships as a matched pair: a 3/8-inch liquid line and a 3/4-inch suction line, each running 30 feet. The suction line is wrapped in 3/4-inch black polyethylene hard-shell insulation that is UV resistant and rated for R-410A refrigerant systems. The exterior features a rugged, anti-tear construction that reduces damage during pulling and routing on the job site. Both lines terminate with plain ends. Insulation is marked every foot for quick field measurement during installation.
This line set is suited for residential and light commercial applications including ductless mini-split systems, variable refrigerant flow (VRF) commercial systems, and conventional split-system air conditioners and heat pumps. The 30-foot length is a common run distance in single-story residential installs and compact commercial builds. The anti-tear exterior and pre-paired configuration reduce labor time on new installations and refrigerant line replacements. Licensed HVAC technicians handling R-410A equipment are the primary installers of this product.
Rated for use with ductless mini-split systems, VRF commercial systems, and split-system air conditioners and heat pumps using R-410A refrigerant. Suitable for new installations and line set replacements where a 30-foot run with 3/8-inch liquid and 3/4-inch suction line sizing is specified.
Installation must be performed by a licensed HVAC technician certified to handle refrigerants under EPA Section 608 requirements. Recover and reclaim any existing refrigerant charge before removing or modifying an existing line set. Plain-end connections require field brazing or compatible flare fittings; follow local mechanical codes and manufacturer torque and joint specifications. Support the line set at regular intervals per applicable mechanical code to prevent sagging and protect the insulation jacket from abrasion.
