The CALEFACTIO 535671HA is a 1-1/4 inch press-connection pressure reducing valve with an integrated pressure gauge, designed for installation in residential and light commercial potable water systems. Built from low-lead brass to meet current plumbing code requirements, this PRV reduces high incoming supply pressure to a safe, stable downstream range. The valve arrives pre-adjustable from the factory, allowing technicians to set the target outlet pressure before installation. It is rated for a maximum inlet pressure of 300 psi and a maximum operating temperature of 180 degrees F. Licensed plumbers and pipefitters are the primary installers of this type of fitting.
This pressure reducing valve is suited for systems where press-style connections are required, eliminating the need for threaded fittings or solder joints at the valve body. The built-in pressure gauge provides an at-a-glance reading of downstream pressure without requiring a separate gauge tee. It is appropriate for domestic cold and hot water distribution lines operating within the rated temperature and pressure envelope. The pre-adjustable design supports faster commissioning on new construction and retrofit projects alike.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation PRV for 1-1/4 inch press-connection potable water distribution systems meeting the rated pressure and temperature limits.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber in accordance with local plumbing codes and IPC guidelines. Shut off the main water supply and relieve system pressure before removing any existing valve or making connections. Press connections require the appropriate jaw set and press tool rated for the pipe material and fitting size — do not substitute crimping tools not rated for press fittings. After installation, slowly restore supply pressure and verify downstream gauge reading before returning the system to service.
