The C2G CG27152 is a 7-foot Cat6 snagless patch cable designed for structured wiring applications in commercial and residential network installations. The snagless boot protects the RJ45 locking tab during routing and removal, reducing connector damage in high-density patch panel environments. Cat6 cabling supports Gigabit Ethernet and is backward compatible with Cat5e and Cat5 infrastructure. The black jacket aids cable identification in organized rack and panel builds. This cable is terminated and ready to deploy, requiring no field termination by the installer.
This patch cable is suited for connecting network switches, routers, patch panels, and end-user workstations. It is commonly used by low-voltage technicians and network installers in server rooms, telecom closets, and office environments where a short, pre-terminated run is needed. The 7-foot length covers typical desktop-to-wall-outlet or patch-panel-to-switch distances without excess slack.
Designed as a standard Cat6 patch cable compatible with RJ45 ports on network switches, routers, patch panels, and network interface cards in typical structured wiring systems.
Installation is performed by low-voltage technicians or network installers. No special tools are required for deployment. Route the cable away from power conductors and sources of EMI in accordance with TIA-568 spacing guidelines. Avoid sharp bends that exceed the minimum bend radius of the cable to maintain signal integrity.
