The C2G CG27151 is a 3-foot Cat6 snagless patch cable finished in black. It is designed to carry Gigabit Ethernet and high-speed network data between switches, routers, patch panels, and end devices. The snagless boot protects the RJ45 locking tab during routing and removal, reducing connector damage in dense cable environments. Cat6 construction supports bandwidth up to 250 MHz, making it suitable for 10/100/1000BASE-T and 10GBASE-T applications over short runs. Network technicians, low-voltage installers, and IT professionals use this cable for structured cabling terminations, server rack patching, and workstation connections.
This patch cable is suited for both commercial and residential network installations. At 3 feet, it is sized for short rack-to-rack or patch panel-to-switch runs where cable management is tight. The black jacket color is common in server rooms and equipment racks where color-coded cable organization is standard practice. A single cable is included per unit, sold individually.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or standard patch cable for use with Cat6 and backward-compatible Cat5e network infrastructure including switches, routers, patch panels, and network interface cards.
Low-voltage and network technicians typically install patch cables as part of structured cabling systems governed by TIA-568 standards. No tools are required for standard patch cable connections. Avoid sharp bends below the minimum bend radius and do not over-bundle cables with tight ties, as both can degrade signal integrity. Ensure the RJ45 locking tab is fully seated and audibly clicks into the port before routing the cable.
