The C2g CG26886 is a 1.5 ft USB to DB9 serial Rs232 adapter cable that connects traditional DB9 serial devices to modern USB ports. It provides plug-and-play operation with data transfer rates over 230 kbps and requires no IRQs, avoiding IRQ conflicts. The adapter supports automatic handshake mode, remote wakeup and power management, and includes 96-byte buffers for upstream and downstream data flow; Chromebook use requires a serial terminal app.
