The C2G CG00735 is a Cat6a snagless unshielded twisted pair (UTP) network patch cable in black, measuring 15 feet in length. Designed for structured cabling installations, it supports high-speed Ethernet connections in both residential and commercial network environments. The snagless boot protects the RJ45 locking tab during installation and routing, reducing the risk of accidental disconnection. Licensed electricians, low-voltage technicians, and network installers use this cable to terminate patch panels, switches, wall jacks, and network equipment in rack and wall installations.
The CG00735 is suited for horizontal and patch runs in office, data center, and home network applications. Cat6a cabling supports 10 Gigabit Ethernet at frequencies up to 500 MHz, making it appropriate for high-bandwidth infrastructure builds. The black jacket aids in color-coded cable management schemes commonly used in structured cabling deployments. This cable ships as a single unit and is ready to install out of the box with no field termination required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement and standard patch cable for use with Cat6a and backward-compatible Cat6 and Cat5e RJ45 ports on switches, routers, patch panels, and wall jacks in structured cabling systems.
Installation is typically performed by low-voltage technicians or network installers following TIA-568 structured cabling standards. Route cables away from high-voltage conduit runs to minimize electromagnetic interference. Do not bend the cable beyond its minimum bend radius, and avoid cinching cable ties too tightly, as either can degrade signal performance. No special tools are required since the cable is pre-terminated.
