The C.H. HANSON 25050 is a 27-piece reverse stamp set designed for marking applications that require a mirror-image impression. Each steel stamp produces characters that read correctly when transferred to a surface through an ink pad, molding compound, or similar transfer process. The set covers the full alphabet plus common symbols, with each character sized at 1/16 inch. Stamps measure 2.5 inches in length with a 5/16-inch shank, and the full set weighs 2.078 pounds. A fitted plastic container keeps all 27 pieces organized and protected between uses.
Reverse stamp sets are used in metalworking, fabrication, and industrial marking where a mirror-image strike is required — such as stamping dies, molds, or transfer plates. Tradespeople in manufacturing, tool and die, and general industrial maintenance rely on this type of set when the stamped impression must read forward on the finished part rather than on the stamped surface itself. The plastic storage case makes field use practical and prevents piece loss.
Designed as a standard reverse stamp set for use with common hand-stamp holders and machinist vises that accept a 5/16-inch shank.
Reverse stamp sets are typically used by machinists, tool-and-die makers, and fabricators. Secure the workpiece firmly before striking to prevent movement and misalignment. Use a ball-peen or stamping hammer of appropriate weight for the material being marked. Inspect stamp faces before use and replace any stamps showing chipped or deformed characters to avoid unclear impressions.
